It has arguably THE best views in the Chamonix valley. At night you can watch climbers making their way to the summit by head torch and in the day sunbath in privacy as there are no other buildings looking on to your space. This apartment has a huge wooden-floored living room with a dining table, sofa bed, TV and wood-fired stove with built in pizza oven. A fully equipped kitchen with a bathroom with a bath and shower finish off this beautiful apartment that, for its outstanding views and position, remains one of our most popular in the Chamonix valley. This apartment is best suited to family groups and those wishing to enjoy a quiet location. Permanent residents live in the building and therefore, excessive noise and parties will not be tolerated. Gaillands North apartment is a flat and easy 10-minute walk from Chamonix town centre, but the ski bus stops right outside to take you the three stops in. There is a garage and plenty of off road parking dedicated to the apartment block and the popular and lively Le Vert Hotel is just across the road for nights out and food, if you don’t fancy cooking.

THE BUILDING : Your accommodation is set within a quiet and secure residential block on the ground floor allowing for easy access from the main front door. INSIDE : Your accommodation comprises of 2 bedrooms 1 double with built in wardrobe providing plenty of storage space, a bunk room and separate bathroom and WC Lounge dining area Double sofa bed in lounge to accommodate extra guests if you need. TV with Netflix. The fully equipped separate galley kitchen also comes with a dishwasher, There is a bathroom with a full sized bath and shower above. OUTSIDE : You will have access to your own terrace The open-plan living / dining area has large sliding doors opening up onto the private patio terrace, and looking out onto the gardens (the garden itself is not allowed to be used, just admired from the patio) along with the incredible views of the surrounding mountains GREAT LOCATION : Fantastic location with Chamonix centre a five minute walk from the apartment with all the bars, restaurants and shops. . The sports centre, swimming pool, tennis courts and spa are all within a few minutes walk. The Savoy beginners ski slope is located behind the apartment complex. GETTING AROUND : Chamonix Holidays will provide your group with tourist cards/Carte d’hotes which give you free use of the trains in the valley, plus discounts at the pool and entry to museums. A night bus also runs from Argentiere to Les Houches and costs 4€ per person. USEFUL BITS : Of course, there is WiFi, provided by Orange, it is not fibre (yet) but it is a pretty good service. If you need to book a transfer from Geneva Airport we recommend Haute Transfer, Mountain Drop Offs and Swiss Tours. We can help organise ski passes so that they are waiting for you when you arrive. PARKING : You will benefit from your own garage and car parking space underneath the building, a plus for the centre of Chamonix. Summer top tip - There is an incredible hike to Argentiere on the Balcon Nord. It is a great way to explore the valley and you can walk to it from this apartment. Winter top tip - This apartment’s location is great for accessing the cross country track in Chamonix. You can rent the equipment from most rental shops in Chamonix, so why not give it a go?
