The best way to get from Geneva airport to the Chamonix valley is by minibus transfer. The train is awkward and involves travelling first into Geneva city. Depending on connections you can easily have two more changes to make and the journey is long, laborious and expensive. The most convenient option is airport transfer to Chamonix.

If you are a larger group or prefer to travel privately, you can arrange a private transfer. We recommend groups of five or more take a private transfer with Haute Transfer as the costs are comparable to taking a shared transfer, but the minibus will be waiting for you at the airport and will take you directly to your accommodation.
